UK citizens overwhelmingly agree: AEDs create safer communities. 9 in 10 * believe that even if the laws don’t require it, communities should make defibrillators accessible in public places. Progress is underway, but gaps remain. While all publicly funded schools in the UK are now equipped with defibrillators, most have only one. In sports like football, guidelines exist, but there’s no requirement to ensure an AED is on every pitch.
